Gov. Okpebholo Pledges a Better 2025 for Edo People During House of Assembly Christmas Carol

BENIN CITY- In a festive gathering filled with music and hope, Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, assured citizens that 2025 would bring progress and prosperity under his administration. Speaking during the annual Nine Lessons and Carol service organized by the Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly (EDHA), Rt. Hon. Blessing Agbebaku, the governor pledged to prioritize good governance and practical solutions to improve the lives of Edo people.

According to the press release signed and made available to newsmen by Fred Itua the Chief Press Secretary to the State Governor. The event, held in the hallowed chamber of the Assembly, saw Governor Okpebholo join the 24 Honourable Members and staff in delivering a goodwill message imbued with gratitude and optimism. He expressed thanks to God for the blessings the state had received throughout the year, emphasizing the importance of unity as Edo State looks toward the future.

“God has been good to us in the State,” the governor remarked. “As the year comes to an end, we will not end with it. Together, we will step into 2025, praying for greater blessings and progress.”

The carol service featured stirring performances by the EDHA choir and the El-Excess Choral Choir, which captivated attendees with their melodious renditions. Adding to the festive atmosphere, Santa Claus delighted both the audience and participants with his playful antics.

The governor’s message and the event’s joyful ambiance left attendees inspired and hopeful for a brighter year ahead.
