Benin City- The Executive Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo, has sworn in Andrew Momodu as a commissioner in the state Executive Council, charging him to prioritise and protect the interests of the people.

The swearing-in ceremony took place at the governor’s office, where Okpebholo congratulated Momodu and urged him to work closely with the administration in delivering the government’s development agenda and improving the welfare of residents.

The governor described the new commissioner as a hardworking and capable individual who can contribute meaningfully to the administration’s drive for good governance.

“I congratulate you. You are fortunate to be coming in at a time when we are almost done with the swearing-in of commissioners. I know you are hardworking and capable, which is why we selected you for this responsibility,” the governor said.
