Atseleghe Felicitates Oba Ewuare II on 10th Coronation Anniversary

High Chief Johnson Atseleghe, JP, the Iyatsere of Warri Kingdom and Chief Executive Officer of Ologbo Hospital Ltd., has congratulated the Omo’ N’Oba N’Edo Uku’ Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, CFR, on the 10th anniversary of his coronation.

Atseleghe, in a statement made available to newsmen in Ologbo, described the anniversary as a significant milestone and an opportunity to celebrate the Benin monarch, the rich heritage of the Benin Kingdom and the enduring role of traditional institutions in Nigeria.

He expressed profound respect and admiration for Oba Ewuare II, noting that the monarch’s decade on the throne represented more than the passage of 10 years, but also a period marked by dedication to the preservation of Benin history, culture and traditions.

According to him, Oba Ewuare II has continued to carry the responsibilities of the ancient Benin throne with dignity, wisdom and a strong sense of duty.

“Your Majesty, I celebrate you today not merely as a great monarch, but as a father, a custodian of history and a worthy representative of the enduring strength and dignity of our traditional institutions,” Atseleghe said.

He commended the monarch’s commitment to preserving Benin traditions and values, describing his respect for the cultural heritage of the people as qualities worthy of admiration.

Atseleghe further prayed for God’s continued protection, good health, wisdom and strength for the Oba as he continues to lead and serve his people.

“May the years ahead bring Your Majesty greater joy and fulfilment. May your reign continue to be remembered with pride, and may the legacy you are building endure for generations yet unborn,” he said.

The Iyatsere of Warri Kingdom said he, his household and the people of Ologbo were joining the Royal Family and well-wishers across the world in celebrating the monarch’s 10th coronation anniversary.

He expressed the hope that the anniversary would usher in renewed peace, unity and prosperity in the Benin Kingdom, while praying for many more years of wisdom, strength and peaceful reign for Oba Ewuare II.

He concluded by extending his felicitations to the monarch and the Benin Kingdom.

“Your Majesty, congratulations on this remarkable milestone. May you continue to reign in peace, dignity and glory.

“Long live the Omo’ N’Oba N’Edo Uku’ Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, CFR.

“Long live the Benin Kingdom.”
