There were widespread celebrations across Egor and Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Areas following the emergence of Hon. Felix Osaze Igbinovia, popularly known as SAZY, as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Egor/Ikpoba-Okha Federal Constituency seat ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Party faithful, supporters, and residents took to the streets in jubilation after the conclusion of the APC primaries conducted across the two local government areas that make up the federal constituency.

Hon. Igbinovia secured the party’s ticket after months of consultations and strategic engagements with party stakeholders, ward leaders, and APC members across the constituency. Political observers attributed his victory largely to his extensive grassroots mobilization and consistent interactions with party members during his consultative tour ahead of the primaries.

Reacting to the outcome, supporters described his emergence as a testament to his strong grassroots connection, accessibility, and commitment to service.

“SAZY has remained close to the people, engaging communities directly and understanding their needs. His emergence represents victory for the grassroots and the constituency at large,” a party member stated during the celebrations.

Hon. Igbinovia’s campaign is expected to focus on infrastructure development, economic empowerment, youth engagement, and responsive representation for the people of Egor/Ikpoba-Okha Federal Constituency.
