Osaro Osa Eribo, to strengthen partnership and deepen collaborative efforts toward protecting the rights and welfare of women and children within the locality.
During the visit, Princess Francisca Uvbi Elema highlighted the core mandates of FIDA—legal advocacy, public enlightenment, protection of vulnerable groups, and promoting justice and equity. She emphasized the need for closer synergy with Egor Local Government Council in driving programmes that align with these objectives, particularly in sensitization campaigns, legal aid outreach, and community empowerment initiatives.
The Chairperson stated that FIDA’s activities across the state continue to focus on providing free legal services for indigent women and children, counselling, mediation, and community awareness on gender-based violence. She expressed the body’s readiness to collaborate with the council in areas of mutual interest to enhance peace, safety, and overall well-being in Egor.
In his response, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Osaro Osa Eribo, warmly welcomed the delegation and commended FIDA for its unwavering commitment to justice, gender equity, and the protection of the vulnerable.
