Hon. Wisdom M. Obude, a candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) for the Edo State House of Assembly, Ikpoba-Okha Constituency, has outlined a development agenda centred on community development, education, healthcare, youth empowerment and greater citizen engagement ahead of the 2027 election.

Obude’s campaign message, captured in the slogan “Na Our Own Be This,” presents the candidate as a community-oriented aspirant seeking to provide representation focused on issues directly affecting residents of the constituency.

Among the priorities highlighted in his campaign material are improved educational opportunities, stronger attention to health and wellbeing, youth empowerment and initiatives aimed at promoting community development.

The candidate also places emphasis on integrity and citizen engagement, suggesting that effective legislative representation should involve regular interaction with constituents and greater responsiveness to their concerns.

His campaign platform further identifies community development as a major area of focus, with the broader objective of contributing to improvements in the social and economic wellbeing of people across Ikpoba-Okha.

As political activities ahead of the 2027 Edo State House of Assembly election continue to gather momentum, candidates across the political spectrum are expected to present their programmes and records to voters, while constituents assess the competing visions for representation.

For Obude, the central message is that legislative representation should go beyond politics and place community needs, human development and accountability at the heart of public service.
