USELU-The Executive Chairman of Egor Local Government Council, Hon. Osaro Osa Eribo, has announced the immediate dissolution of all political appointments in the council.

In a statement issued on Friday, August 21, 2026, the council chairman directed all individuals currently serving in political appointment positions under the Egor Local Government Council to vacate their offices with immediate effect.

According to the statement, the decision is part of the administration’s efforts to strengthen good governance, improve efficiency, promote accountability and reposition the council for effective service delivery.

Eribo expressed appreciation to the affected appointees for their contributions and services to the council during their tenure.

He wished them success in their future endeavours and directed all concerned persons to take note of the decision and comply accordingly.

The dissolution takes effect from August 21, 2026.
