Egor Council Chairman Celebrates Eid with Muslims, Donates Food Items

The Executive Chairman of Egor Local Government Council, Hon. Osaro Osa Eribo, has extended goodwill to Muslim faithfuls in the council area by donating food items and relief materials to support the Eid celebration.

The donation, which included bags of rice and other essential items, was aimed at assisting Muslim families across Egor Local Government Area to celebrate the festive season in comfort and joy.

Speaking on behalf of the Muslim community during the presentation, delegation leader Alhaji Yusuf expressed appreciation to the council chairman for his consistent support and solidarity with the Muslim Ummah in the area.

He commended Hon. Eribo for continually identifying with the Muslim community during festive periods and prayed for Allah’s blessings, protection, wisdom and favour upon him.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Osaro Osa Eribo said the contributions of the Islamic community to the peace and development of Egor Local Government Area remain invaluable.

He described Muslim faithfuls as peaceful partners in the progress of the council and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to inclusiveness, religious harmony and support for all residents regardless of tribe or religion.

The chairman also prayed for Allah’s mercy, peace and grace upon Muslims, expressing hope that they would witness many more Eid celebrations in good health, unity and prosperity.

The gesture has been widely described as a demonstration of unity, tolerance and community support within the local government area.
