Eribo Felicitates Residents on International Day of Happiness, Eid el-Fitr

The Executive Chairman of Egor Local Government Council, Osaro Osa Eribo, has congratulated residents on the occasion of the International Day of Happiness and the Eid el-Fitr celebration.

In a statement, Eribo described the convergence of the two occasions as significant, noting that happiness remains a universal aspiration that transcends religion, culture, and social background.

He said happiness is rooted in peace, unity, compassion, and shared prosperity, urging residents of Egor Local Government Area to embrace values that promote collective well-being, including love, tolerance, and a commitment to building a better society.

The chairman also extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan, commending their dedication, sacrifice, and spiritual devotion during the fasting period.

He expressed hope that the Eid el-Fitr celebration would bring joy, peace, and renewed blessings to Muslim families across the council area.

Eribo noted that the alignment of the International Day of Happiness with Eid el-Fitr underscores the importance of unity in diversity, calling on all residents, regardless of faith or status, to continue fostering harmony and working collectively for the development of Egor.
