Ugbowo Residents Hail Road Grading Effort
Benin City-Residents of Ward 10 (Ugbowo) in Egor Locale Government Area have expressed appreciation to the council chairman, Hon. Osaro Osa Eribo, following the ongoing road grading exercise in the area.
The intervention, aimed at rehabilitating long-neglected roads, is part of the council’s efforts to improve infrastructure and deliver grassroots development across communities.
Community leaders, including Prince Woghiren P.A.I, Acting Okaidun of Ahunwan and Woghiren Streets, Dr. Omorodion Daniel, General Secretary of Ahunwan Community, and Pastor Matthew Osarogiagbon, commended the chairman for what they described as proactive and responsive leadership.
They noted that the grading exercise has significantly improved accessibility and living conditions, adding that the development marks a major shift for a community that had experienced years of neglect.
The residents also extended their gratitude to Governor Monday Okpebholo for supporting infrastructural development across the state, which they said has enabled such interventions at the local level.
They further praised the collaboration between the state and local government, describing it as a demonstration of effective governance and renewed commitment to sustainable development.
The Egor Local Government Council reiterated its resolve to ensure equitable development across all wards, stressing that no community will be left behind.
