Egor LGA Chairman Inspects Schools, Vows Infrastructure Upgrade

Surely – In a renewed drive to enhance the quality of education and improve the learning environment in Egor Local Government Area, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Osaro Osa Eribo, on Tuesday undertook an inspection tour of selected public primary schools across the locality.

The visit, according to Hon. Eribo, was aimed at assessing the current state of infrastructure in the schools and identifying critical areas that require immediate government intervention to ensure a safe, conducive, and inspiring environment for pupils and teachers.

“It is the right of every Egor child to have access to quality education, which goes beyond good teaching to include functional and well-maintained school infrastructure,” the Chairman said.

Among the schools visited were Ogida Model Primary School, Eweka Primary School, Useh, and Egor Primary School, where Hon. Eribo interacted with teachers and pupils, expressing concern over the state of some facilities and assuring them of prompt action.

Reiterating his administration’s commitment to revitalizing the education sector, the Council Chairman noted that investment in education remains the most sustainable path to community growth and development. He pledged that his administration would prioritize the renovation and upgrade of public school structures to create an atmosphere that encourages learning and academic excellence.
