Egor Council Chairman Orders Urgent Fix of Referral Clinic After Inspection

The Executive Chairman of Egor Local Government Council, Hon. Osaro Osa Eribo, has directed immediate action to fix the structural and operational challenges at the Egor Referral Clinic, following an inspection visit to the facility.

During the visit, Hon. Eribo was briefed by health workers on the major issues affecting the clinic, including a leaking roof that disrupts services during rainfall and the lack of water supply, which hinders daily medical operations.

The council chairman, who personally inspected the affected areas, expressed concern over the deplorable condition of the health centre and assured that his administration would expedite repairs to restore the clinic to full functionality.

“The Egor Referral Clinic is a vital healthcare centre serving our people. We will not allow it to deteriorate further. My administration will act swiftly to address these problems and ensure the facility operates effectively,” Hon. Eribo stated.

He further reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving healthcare delivery across Egor Local Government, emphasizing that all public health institutions under the council’s jurisdiction will be properly maintained, equipped, and staffed to serve residents efficiently.
