The Egor Local Government Council has intensified its ongoing mass road grading exercise as more roads are being graded in Ward 6 (Evbareke), in line with the council’s commitment to improving road accessibility and enhancing the living conditions of residents across the Local Government Area.

The exercise, being carried out under the leadership of the Chairman of Egor Local Government Council, Hon. Osaro Osa Eribo, has witnessed the deployment of heavy equipment to several inner roads within Evbareke, with additional streets now receiving attention as the intervention expands.

Speaking on the exercise, Hon. Eribo reiterated that the mass grading programme is part of a deliberate effort by his administration to address long-standing challenges posed by poor road conditions, especially during the rainy season. He noted that the initiative is aimed at easing movement for residents, improving access for commercial activities, and ensuring safer transportation within communities.
Residents of Ward 6 have expressed appreciation for the intervention, describing it as timely and impactful, as many previously neglected roads are now being rehabilitated to improve connectivity within the area.
The Chairman further assured that the grading exercise will continue across other wards in the Local Government Area, stressing that no community will be left behind in the council’s drive to deliver people-oriented infrastructure and responsive governance.
