Okpebholo SHINE Agenda gaining momentum in extensive road construction in Edo South

In pursuant of his SHINE agenda, Governor Monday Okpebholo has continued to sustain the construction of strategic roads across Edo South Senatorial District .

The governor ‘s determination in ensuring that all the uncompleted road projects by the previous administration is completed demonstrates his commitment in providing greatness and happiness to the greatest number of Edo people .

In company of the hon. Commissioner for works , Hon. Festis Akhagbue with other newsmen on a media tour on the roads undergoing construction, The Crusaders Voice News witnessed the excitement , plethora of applause for Governor Monday Okpebholo and huge jubilation among residents of Uteh road for the completion of the road which had been in a very deplorable condition and almost impassable for so many years .

Breaking the age long stagnation on an important Uteh road and linking it to the 4.2km Palace road made the jubilation among the road users and residents unprecedented.

Of great significance is how he has eased the suffering of occupants of the areas that some of these roads construction are completed with some currently undergoing construction .

At Technical College road in ugbowo,, extensive work is currently going on in the underground tunnel of the 9.6km with seven adjourning roads already completed.

Another milestone in what Governor Monday Okpebholo is doing in road construction is the work going on in Okhunmwan road at oluku linking it to siluko road in ovia north. There is no doubt that Governor Monday Okpebholo had creditably done very well to change the ugly face of road infrastructures in the state.

The 23.5 km power line, off evbuotubu road is also undergoing construction with intense work and engineers maximizing the dry whether ahead of raining season.

The Adesuwa Sapele road construction is also been given the necessary attention as engineers were seen on cite working extensively to meet up with deadline.

The popular Ramat park fly over which remains the center of attraction in Governor Okpebholo infrastructural drive were also being given major technical attention iwith almost 60% completion.

Other construction sites visited are the Construction and Erosion control of Catholic Charismatic renewal road and Ekiuwa-University of Benin road,. Etc.

Speaking to newsmen after the media tour, hon. Felix Akhagbue expressed optimism that the engineers are working assiduously to meet up with the agreed deadline.

He called on Edo people to support the government of Governor Okpebholo as he is committed in bringing the dividends of good governance to their doorsteps.
