Egor LG Begins Comprehensive Sand Filling and Grading Across All Wards

The Egor Local Government Council has commenced a large-scale grading of earth roads across the local government area, reaffirming its commitment to improving accessibility and easing transportation challenges for residents.

The exercise, initiated under the leadership of the Chairman, Hon. Osaro Osa Eribo, began in Ward 5 and has now advanced to Ward 1, reflecting a systematic and well-coordinated rollout. The project is structured to cover all ten (10) wards within Egor Local Government Area, ensuring balanced development and inclusive service delivery at the grassroots.

Addressing the initiative, Hon. Eribo emphasized that the road grading project is a key component of his administration’s infrastructural agenda, aimed at opening up inner communities, boosting socio-economic activities, and reducing the difficulties faced by motorists and pedestrians—particularly during the rainy season.

Residents across benefiting wards have commended the council for the timely intervention, noting that improved earth roads will significantly enhance mobility and daily economic activities. The council has assured the people of Egor that the project will be thoroughly executed until every ward is covered.

The ongoing exercise further highlights the determination of the Hon. Osaro Osa Eribo–led administration to deliver people-focused governance and tangible development at the grassroots level.
