Egor Chairman Meets Road Makers, Reviews Progress on Ongoing Maintenance

The Executive Chairman of Egor Local Government Council, Hon. Osaro Osa Eribo, on Tuesday met with the Egor Road Makers at the Council Secretariat, Uselu, where he received an update on the ongoing road maintenance efforts across the locality.

During the briefing, the Road Makers highlighted areas where major clearing, cleaning, and maintenance activities have recently been carried out. They reiterated their commitment to keeping roads in Egor accessible, safe, and conducive for residents, commuters, and businesses.

Hon. Eribo commended the team for their dedication and the visible improvements recorded under the current maintenance drive. He urged them to make good use of the dry season to intensify work, accelerate clearing, and tackle locations requiring urgent attention. The Chairman also identified some critical spots needing immediate intervention, stressing that improved road conditions play a vital role in boosting economic activities and easing movement within the council.

Responding, the Coordinator of the Egor Road Makers assured that the issues raised would be promptly addressed. He noted that modalities are already in place to tackle the identified challenges and promised more improvements in the coming weeks.

The meeting ended on a positive note, with both parties reaffirming their commitment to sustaining road infrastructure development in Egor Local Government Area.
