Edo State Council NUJ Chairman Lauds Gov. Okpebholo On Restoration of EBS Back to Terrestrial on UHF Chanel 45

Benin City- The chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists, Edo State Council, Dr. Festus Alenkhe, shared a warmly congratulatory message to the Edo State Governor His Excellency, the Governor of Edo state , Senator Monday Okpebholo, on the successful restoration of Edo Broadcasting Service terrestrial on UHF channel 45 and the reopening of the Ihievbe broadcast station, which marks a significant return to the airwaves after a decade of absence, reestablishing a vital connection with the people of Edo North and Nigeria as a whole.

The Council Boss, stated in his message that the milestone is a testament to Governor Okpebholo’s commitment to revitalizing the media industry in Edo State.
The Governor ‘s leadership and vision have made a significant impact, and we are grateful for his efforts.

He also commend the Managing Director, Edo Broadcasting Service, Sulaiman Aledeh, for his dedication to ensuring the transformation and success of EBS. His hard work and expertise have been instrumental in achieving this milestone.

He further appreciated Governor Okpebholo’s commitment to the growth and development of the media industry in Edo State, as evident in his decision to absorb the new EBS staff. Which has demonstrated his dedication to empowering journalists and promoting quality journalism in Edo state.

The council chairman hailed the Governor on the remarkable achievement with hopes looking forward to a continued collaboration and growth in the media industry.
