In Benin City; a heartwarming gesture, 250 elderly men and women aged 65 and above in Edo State have benefitted from the Renewed Hope Initiative Elderly Support Scheme (RHIESS), spearheaded by Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

The scheme, now in its second edition, aims to annually enhance the welfare of senior citizens across the nation. Under the initiative, 250 individuals from each of the 36 states, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), are selected as beneficiaries.
