Edo State Government Approves Appointments into EDSOPADEC, EDSIEC

Benin City – The Edo State Government, has announced the approval of members into two state Commission. The special anouncemet was signed by the Secretary to the State Government Umar Musa Ikhilor Esq.

The anouncemet stated, “His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has approved the appointment of members to the Edo State Oil and Gas Producing Areas Development Commission (EDSOPADEC) and the Edo State Independent Electoral Commission (EDSIEC).”

Membership of EDSOPADEC

The approved members of the Edo State Oil and Gas Producing Areas Development Commission (EDSOPADEC) are as follows:
1. Francis Osaretin Osabuohien – Chairman
2. Felix Osazee – Member
3. Linda Aliyu Omonzele – Member
4. Princess (Mrs.) Ikuoyemwen Ewuare-Aimiuwu – Member
5. Edosomwan Kelvin Iredia – Member
6. Stanley Odidi – Member
7. Tony Osazuwa – Member

Membership of EDSIEC

The approved members of the Edo State Independent Electoral Commission (EDSIEC) are as follows:
1. Jonathan Aifuobhokhan – Chairman
2. Asein Ojo Victor – Member
3. Ighomo Egharevba Thomas – Member
4. Imafidon Hope Osarodion – Member
5. Dr. Suleman Ovuehor Ikhuoria – Member
6. Hon. Anthony Aikpoghome – Member
7. Umoru Habib Frank – Member
8. Aremiyau Aligamhe Momoh – Member

The Secretary to the State Government also stated the appointments takes immediate effect.
