Youth Empowerment: APC Governorship Candidate, Sen. Monday Okpebholo Empowers 10 Artisans with 10million Grants

It was a moment of sober reflection for Senator Monday Okpebholo, the Governorship Candidate of All Progressive Congress as he mounted the podium to address Edo Youths at the Paddy Emmanuel Foundation Youth Empowerment program held in Benin City .

Senator Okpebholo who emotionally narrated his humble beginning in the business world to inspire recipients of Paddy Emmanuel 20milloin grants stressed that determination and consistency remains the pathway of success for any Youth who aspire to add value to the society.

He noted that he derived his inspiration to become the Governor of Edo State from his humble beginning to help the down trodden especially the Youths having tasted what hardship is all about.

Senator Okpewelo in his usual humble self pointed to some Youths in the audience who were tailors, shoemakers, welders and hairdressers , etc and presented the sum of 500,000 each to the artisans as a way of supporting their business.

He however commended Dr . Paddy Emmanuel for his philanthropic endeavours in the lives of Edo Youths and assured him that when elected as Governor, he will further partner with his foundation to see more Youths in the business world.

He admonished Youths that were empowered to see what was given to them as a seed they need to grow for advancement.

Speaking also at the event, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu charged Edo Youths to ensure they cast their votes for the APC Governorship Candidate, Monday Okpebholo as he posses the spirit of compassion for the down trodden.

He stressed further that Edo People are not looking for leaders with bogus credentials that lack compassion for the needy but are looking for those who will feel the pulse of the suffering Edo Youths, Women and Men.

He said with Monday Okpebholo, Edo Youths should be assured of continuous Empowerment.

Inspiring the Youths, the founder of FDN, Osas Ighodalo also charged the Youths to invest in their personal development as well as their brands.

The Senior Adviser to President Tinubu on Youth Initiative, Titilope Gbadamosi explained further on how Edo Youths can take advantage of the Paddy Emmanuel Foundation to nurture their business and become Catains of Industries.

She advised that designing a business plan with solid structures could only draw attention of clients to the business mostly when they are adding values to the society.

On her part, Ms Iroghama Ogbeifun, the CEO of Starzs Investment Company Limited said that to survive in the present Nigeria, Youths must rise up and build competence and capacity to grow their individual business .

” Consistency helps you to grow your business. You must strive to build the spirit of resilience, confidence and build your relationships with people as that will help you grow in your career.

Highpoint of the event was the presentation of Grants to Youths across the LGA by Dr. Paddy Emmanuel.
